SugarChimp sends out error emails whenever the synchronization between the CRM and Mailchimp runs into a snag. The frequency and consistency at which you receive the error emails will determine rather you need support or can ignore the email altogether. This guide should help you know how to handle your error emails from SugarChimp.
You have just received an error email from SugarChimp
You can ignore a single error email as the integration has already picked up where it left off, sending your updates across to Mailchimp. If you continue to receive the errors, then you may need to troubleshoot further in the future.
You are receiving error emails intermittently
If you are receiving errors during your sync at random times throughout the week or month, then you likely are experiencing one of these issues:
- Syncing to a deleted Mailchimp List
- To check this, navigate to the Health Status page from your CRM Admin page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and see if any Mailchimp audiences display as 'unknown'. If so, click Remove the Sync for any target lists needed.
- Intermittent connectivity issues from your server to Mailchimp
- If you have no 'unknown' Mailchimp audiences, it is likely you are experiencing intermittent server connectivity, which should be reported to your system administrator.
You are continuously receiving emails every few minutes
These errors could be caused by a number of issues within the integration. To start, update to the latest version of SugarChimp. If this doesn't resolve the issue, forward the email to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com along with a screenshot of your Health Status page and any additional details so our team can troubleshoot further.
