After Changing a Field in Studio, Field Names Return

Symptom: After changing a drop-down or multi-select field in Sugar, the field options are returning and re-populating for contacts, targets, or leads.

Solution: If you are using Sugar Studio to make changes to drop-downs or multi-select field options and those fields are also syncing to Mailchimp as Mailchimp Groups, we recommend following the steps below:

1. From SugarChimp Health Status, click view scheduler (at the top of the page).
2. Click Edit and use the Status drop-down to select Inactive.
3. Click Save.
4. From Sugar Studio, update and remove any options for drop-downs and multi-select fields you need.
5. Navigate to Mailchimp and using the Manage contacts drop-down, select Groups.
6. Click View Groups for the field you need to change.
7. Delete any unneeded groups.
8. Return to the SugarChimp Health Status page and click view scheduler to turn the scheduler back on.
