Symptom: After changing a drop-down or multi-select field in Sugar, the field options are returning and re-populating for contacts, targets, or leads.
Solution: If you are using Sugar Studio to make changes to drop-downs or multi-select field options and those fields are also syncing to Mailchimp as Mailchimp Groups, we recommend following the steps below:
- From SugarChimp Health Status, click view scheduler (at the top of the page).
- Click Edit and use the Status drop-down to select Inactive.
- Click Save.
- From Sugar Studio, update and remove any options for drop-downs and multi-select fields you need.
- Navigate to Mailchimp and using the Manage contacts drop-down, select Groups.
- Click View Groups for the field you need to change.
- Delete any unneeded groups.
- Return to the SugarChimp Health Status page and click view scheduler to turn the scheduler back on.
