Update to the Latest Version of SugarChimp

Running the latest version of SugarChimp ensures you have a more seamless experience.  If you're not sure if you have the most recent version, view our Release Notes and Version History to determine if you need to upgrade.

To Update SugarChimp From an Older Version

1. Navigate to the orders page and download the latest package based on your CRM.  Note: Ensure your package is not unzipped by the browser.  You will need the entire .zip file.
   • SugarOutfitters: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/orders
   • SuiteCRM Store: https://store.suitecrm.com/orders
2. Upload and install the package in the CRM.  (Specific instructions for SugarCRM are below.) Note: Do NOT uninstall the current version of SugarChimp.
3. All of your previous settings will be maintained, and you can continue to use SugarChimp normally.

Which version should you install? See the options below:

SugarChimp for Sugar 12: For SugarCRM version 12+ and you've applied the ExternalResourceClient patch.
SugarChimp Legacy: For SugarCRM version 11 (and older) and you're still using cURL.
SugarChimp for SuiteCRM: For SuiteCRM Users.

Upload Steps for SugarCRM

1. Navigate to your SugarCRM and log in as an admin user.
2. Click your profile picture in the top right and select Admin
3. Navigate to Module Loader
4. Upload the zip package
5. Click install, agree to the terms, and continue. It will take a couple of minutes to install.
6. You should now be redirected to SugarChimp’s Welcome Screen.
