Plan Differences for Accounts Module

If you use the Accounts module, you may be wondering which plan level is appropriate for you.  Here are two key features that will affect how you use the Accounts module depending on the plan you have:

Related Account Data for Field Mapping

If the Accounts module has an email address: If the email address you would like to send a campaign to exists at the account level, any of our plans (Basic, Professional, or Ultimate) will work for you.  To do this, we can simply enable the Accounts module so you can sync account emails (and account-level data) from Sugar to Mailchimp.  For more steps on doing this, please reach out to our support team.

If the Accounts module has account-level data for related contacts: If the email address you would like to send a campaign to exists at the contact, target, or lead level but you would like to sync account-level data for the related contact, target, or lead then the Ultimate plan will work for you.  With the Ultimate plan, you can sync record level information plus their related data at the account level.

Dashlet/Connector

If the Accounts module has an email address: If the email address you would like to view campaign activity for exists at the account level, and of our plans will work for you.  To do this, simply add the Mailchimp dashlet or connector at the account level.

If the Accounts module has related contacts/leads: If the email address you would like to view campaign activity for exists at the contact or lead level, but you would like to view that activity from the account, then the Ultimate plan will work for you. (For example, perhaps you would like to view all campaigns sent to a specific account's contacts.) To do this, you will add the Mailchimp Activity for Related Records dashlet/connector. Note: The dashlet that appears at the account level will display campaigns sent to related contacts.  The dashlet will not include unsubscribe information.  Instead, unsubscribes can be seen at the contact level.
